2022 Western Conference on Tax Exempt Organizations

The 26th Annual Western Conference on Tax-Exempt Organizations (WCTEO), my #1 go-to conference every year for the past 17 years, will be held at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, December 1, and Friday, December 2. You can register for this in-person conference jointly hosted by LMU Loyola Law School and UCLA School of Law’s Program on Philanthropy and Nonprofits here.

The two-day conference includes 13 sessions on legal developments of critical importance to charities and other nonprofit organizations. The conference features an array of prominent tax-exemption experts including officials from the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the IRS, plus prominent West Coast lawyers and accountants.
The 26th annual conference is organized by Ellen Aprill, a WCTEO founder and the John E. Anderson Chair in Tax Law Emerita at LMU Loyola Law School, and Jill Horwitz, the David Sanders Professor of Law and Medicine at UCLA School of Law and the inaugural Faculty Director of UCLA Law’s new Program on Philanthropy and Nonprofits.
